Dig Into the Avocado Bowl

Avocados are a kind of miracle fruit. They are packed with more potassium than bananas and full of folate and vitamin K1.  And, of course, they are delicious.

Avocados pair perfectly with salads, toast and burgers. But we think they need a bigger stage.

The Avocado Bowl

Mix together your favorite ingredients

 

  1. Pick your protein: oven-roasted turkey, oil-packed tuna
  2. Add veggies: asparagus, kale sprouts, red onion, kalamata olives
  3. Don’t forget the fruit: tomato or a squeeze of lemon
  4. Time for toppings: fresh basil, fresh garlic, olive oil

 

Slice the avocado in half, lengthwise. Remove the seed. Fill with your favorite ingredients.
